STARTER:

  1. Find the value of 4b + 3 when i) b = 2.5, ii) b = -1.5, iii) b = ½
  2. Find the value of 12 / y when i) y = 2, ii) y = 4, iiI0 y = -6

Where A = a2 + b2 , find A when: i) a = 2 and b = 3, ii) a = 5 and b = 7, iii) b = -1 and c = -4
